Day 2 (9/30/2021) – Portimao

Today, we woke up at sunrise and went for a 2 mile run on the beach! The mornings are beautiful and cool so it was perfect for running/jogging. Then we came back to the apartment and had breakfast and coffee on the balcony.
We spent the afternoon writing/reading and then went out in the early evening for a dinner date at the Italian Ristorante Pinocchio. The food and mojito were delicious! Cost: 27.90 EUR Total
After Dinner, we went for a walk along the beach at sunset.
Then we explored the hip, upbeat main street which was also only a couple blocks away on the Av. Tomas Cabreira that runs the length of Praia do Rocha beach. It was bustling with activity and was full of restaurants, shops, bars, a cute merry go round, and even a very upscale castle/hotel and a club.
